IGNIS provides a powerful, user-friendly platform for capturing critical field data, ensuring teams stay aligned and informed. Whether marking hazards, control points, or safety zones, points follow fire-specific symbology standards for clear communication in high-pressure situations. This guide covers how to add and edit points to fit operational needs.
How to Add a Point:
- At the bottom of the home screen, tap the "Add" button.
- Select the type of point you'd like to place (this can be edited later).
- On the next screen, drag your finger across the map to change the point's location. Use two fingers to zoom in and out.
- After choosing where to place the point, tap the text box to change its name.
- Next, add a description or change the symbology by tapping the blue pencil icon.

- Tap "Done" to save the point.
To edit the point, tap on it from the home screen again, and choose "Edit" in the upper left-hand corner.
The edit menu will be displayed. Make your changes and then tap "Done."
