The Incident Dashboard

This article details how to use the Incident Dashboard.

The Incident Dashboard offers the user a quick way to view information on current and new incidents within their zone, and the option to quickly view these incidents on the map. While it is similar to accessing Incidents within the Zone Dashboard, the Incident Dashboard is even quicker to access and will soon have the functionality to include multiple zones! Follow along below to learn more about this feature. 



Using The Incident Dashboard

  1. Select “Incidents” from the white bar at the bottom of your home screen.
  2. The Incident Dashboard is now open and displaying incidents for your current zone.incidentszone
  3. At the top of the screen, confirm that you are viewing the Angeles Emergency Communication Center, to the right of the name will be a green oval that says “Current Zone.” In the near future, you will be able to have multiple zones saved to this page, and only one can be your “Current Zone.”
  4. To hide the drop-down of current incidents, select the arrow, located just below the “Current Zone” symbol
  5. Press the arrow again to show the current incidents.
  6. Choose an incident to view and select the arrow to the right of the incident's name.
  7. From here, more information will appear about the incident and the option to “View on Map.”
  8. Select “View on Map.”
  9. Your map will shift to view the incident that was selected.
  10. If your screen doesn't shift to fully show the incident, try zooming in further to your map, and select “View on Map” again.

    *Pro-Tip* By using the search bar on the home screen you can search for current incidents by name!
